Last week at our Conder Early Childhood Service, the nursery room went for an afternoon nature walk to explore the local community.
The carers and babies took advantage of the warmer weather and ventured outside and along the local walking track. The group spent time looking the different flora and fauna and enjoying the sunshine. They spotted some wattle, which some of the other children had used in their artwork the previous day. The group heard dogs barking and saw kangaroos eating in a local park.
It was a beautiful experience for the nursery room; they loved getting outside in the fresh air. With Spring now here, Conder Early Childhood Service is looking forward to more nature walks in the warmer days to come.
